At GUA·QUYE Agroforestal, we have established a place that supports innovation-based projects on Agroforestry, founded on co-creation principles to share and learn.

We do more than planting trees! We encourage agroforestry systems with native species in the tropical high-mountains of Colombia, along with easy to implement technologies on key aspects of agriculture.

Our projects are conceived to benefit rural communities by building bridges among their complex collective needs. Therefore, we nurture ideas that improve cohabitation as a rule in nature. Our priority now, is to restore and protect tropical high-mountain ecosystems withour forgetting its people.

We are working to increase crop diversity, restore ecosystem services, include sustainable construction techniques, introduce clean energy options, improve water conservation, making economic sense within the frame of The Water, Energy, Food + Forest (WEF+F) Nexus approach
